Saving Lives in Eccleshall
Trained volunteers responding to 999 calls across Eccleshall and the surrounding area — often first on scene before the ambulance arrives.
Who We Are
Eccleshall Community First Responders are volunteers trained by West Midlands Ambulance Service to a nationally recognised standard. We respond to 999 calls and provide immediate medical aid until the ambulance arrives. We receive no central funding — we rely entirely on local donations and fundraising.
In June 2017 we were awarded the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service — the highest award for volunteer groups in the UK.
